Science, Technology and Math Magnets are interdisciplinary, standards based, inquiry-based, and real world problem-based programs that teach students about STeM-related subjects. These programs are geared to the student’s interest in science, computer technology, and mathematics.

At Carthay School of Environmental Studies Magnet we believe that all students can learn, and that teachers make a difference in the success of individual students. Throughout each classroom, students are engaged in their learning through differentiated instructional activities.
At Carthay School of Environmental Studies Magnet we strive to provide hands-on studies of life, physical, and earth sciences. We aim to support the intellectual development of students to become inquiring, knowledgeable and compassionate young scholars who will continue to be lifelong learners.
